Brief Bio:

Sparks has the mind of a teenage revolutionary. They want more of everything: more excitement, more influence, more thrills.

They want to be important, to help make the world a better place and, more importantly, to be close to Zenia, the leader of the Co-operative, the defacto anti-JONACO resistance.

Sparks thinks Zenia is extremely… “cool” and idolises her.

Whether they believe in the resistance or just believe in Zenia, it’s difficult to tell, and it isn’t apparent whether Sparks knows either.

Sparks’s job in Phantom Peak is extremely boring - and they constantly get themselves in over their head in ways they shouldn’t, for example; they are in the Co-operative and often overstepping in the pursuit to be included, despite their low level.

But they’re itching to do more for the cause often creating problems for the wider movement.

Rexford / Tour Guide - Rexford was a classic, run-of-the-mill Phantom Deeps miner before all this changed. They were a Quarry Manager for Miramine and excellent at it. A true materialist, they only ever focused on what was in front of them. The politics, the chaos around miramine and JONACO - it all passed them by.

They’re honestly still a bit confused about how all that happened - what with the blimp crash, Dr. Furbish vanishing, this Jonas guy.

It’s a difficult world to be Ol’ Rexford in. Rexford is an unyielding “straight man” in a deeply strange environment and boy do they know it. They acknowledge how weird it all is, constantly.
